Yokollection is an artist-led pseudo brand founded by artist-duo Francesca Nobilucci and Alexa Hare. Yokollection’s work is inspired by Japanese multimedia artist Yoko Ono with underlying commentary on art and commercialism.

Worked with founders Francesca and Alexa, we led the creative direction, photography, design and production of their artist book Spring/Summer.

With the creative direction of the book, we aim to highlight the strangeness of consumerism and the discomfort of artwork being reduced to a saleable commodity.

We rephotographed all artworks created by the duo as staged catalogue products. Sales advice is offered through disordered poetry written by Stefano Calligaro and artwork captions become product descriptions in the interplay between mass-produced products and original artworks.
